The following is a sample of some of the website projects that have been previously completed.  When possible, we include links to the live site*.  Not all previous projects are shown.

*After our portion of the project is complete, we cannot control if the site is modified, redesigned, or removed entirely; the lack of a “View Site” link simply means the project no longer reflects the work done by Columbia Web Development.

  • Acme Data

The AcmeData.net site was redesigned by another team, but implemented here.  Work on this project included layout and format customization, extensive customization of the footer (recent blog posts section), and a great deal of responsive work for the mobile versions.

  • Humpty Dumpty Christian Co-Op Preschool

Using WordPress, this website was installed, designed, and maintained entirely by me. Some initial content was reused from the old site (coded in Joomla), but the construction of this site occurred from the ground up. Development included customizations to theme files and installation/adaptation of additional plug-ins to the core installation, as well as all graphics/photo work (with the exception of the school logo).

  • Island Time Renovation

This was a full and complete installation from scratch.  Content and graphics were filled in (with photos provided by the client) and then edited per the client’s feedback.  A good deal of focus on this site was on the images gallery and portfolio.  The site was set up with SEO, responsive design, and optimized for speed and loading time.

  • The Genius Parent Community

This project was a massive undertaking.  With an online summit set to launch in less than a week, the previous developer was unresponsive.  The site was unfinished, contained errors, and key necessary features were inactive.  The project was completed (successfully) and the summit ran smoothly.  After the summit ended, the site was further enhanced and redesigned.  In addition to formatting, layout, and coding, this project involved a great deal of graphics work and integration with various other platforms (newsletters, streaming audio, shopping cart, etc).
